A Jury ordered the 26-year-old to pay $1.75 million to Akira Montague, the ex-wife of her former manager and current romantic partner, Tim Montague, for their alleged affair.

Akira, according to documents obtained by NBC News, accused Brenay of using their friendship to spark a close relationship with Tim, whom she had wed in 2018.
In Akira’s suit, she said she became aware of the affair in January 2024, alleging in the docs that Brenay “in behavior designed to seduce” Tim such as “flicking her tongue to expose her tongue rings in a flirtatious manner.
She further alleged Brenay and Tim of exchanged “numerous sexual videos and text messages.”
Akira, who shares two young children with Tim, also detailed Tim emotionally withdrawing from her amid the affair with Brenay, stating in the docs, “The Defendant has intentionally, wrongfully and unjustifiably interfered with the relationship between the Plaintiff and her Husband.”
Following the ruling, Akira’s attorney weighed in on what it means to her.
