The truth is, when we choose to love someone, we inevitably let go of parts of ourselves to make space for them.
This captivating play is a love letter to the magic of theatre, exploring marriage, queerness, and gender through the lens of time. Meet Daisy, who’s standing at a pivotal moment. Her conscience pulls her in one direction, but societal expectations push her in another. What she decides will shape not only her future but also ripple across four couples over the next ninety years.
Inspired by Ibsen’s iconic A Doll’s House, the story travels through the 1950s, 1980s, present, and beyond, all while questioning the roles we play in love and partnership. In Samuel Adamson’s uniquely crafted dramedy, we encounter a vibrant cast of characters—gay and straight—each grappling with their own version of ‘wife,’ with Ibsen’s rebellious Nora as their touchstone.
